The best Skip moment was when Richard Sherman went onto First Take and basically questioned the guy as a man. Sherman went on there on a clear mission to not debate but to put the guy down and tell him he's worthless. Not sure I've seen anything from skip in over a decade outside of a headline that I don't click. Skip, Cowherd, I'll make it a point to not listen to them because they really don't deserve the money or attention they get for being shock whores. On the NY side, I wasn't as strict but I had the same opinion on Craig Carton. He clearly doesn't like sports and doesn't research it, but will say something extremely stupid to get a reaction from people. I never understood why he was so popular.

I'll be honest. I've never listened to the guy before this. I knew the name and that's about it. After doing some research I found out that this is this guy's act. I also read they can't find anyone to replace Sharp who left his show. No one wants to work with him. I wonder why?

Skip was a very knowledgeable sports pundit and a respected journalist for multiple decades. Sportswriter of the year in Texas (3x) and Chicago. He realized he could make a whole hell of a lot more money saying outrageous things to about a couple years into his tenure at ESPN. And whether you agreed or disagreed with him, he was a superstar when he was with Stephen A. in the mid-late 2000’s on First Take. He hasn’t changed back to respected sports journalist since he realized that success. So the sooner folks understand it’s an act for headlines and clicks like this, the sooner you can blow past it.
