6'4" 240 lbs is still a little light but I'm sure he can put on 5-10 lbs with the nutrition and training staffs.
Thanks for constant tweets gang, there is going to be a lot of eyes this summer. Waiting on the first scoop on when Rodgers has to go into the facility mid drills to take a shit. More importantly, this tweet is the kind of stuff that separates great teams from ok ones. Having constant communication and ensuring everyone absorbs the details thoroughly. Execution is for game days, but getting this nailed down makes everything flow with more confidence
Thanks for creating the thread and for all the pictures, videos, and tweets. Zach looks a little beefier this year, or maybe it was just the camera angle. There is a picture (post #5) with he and Rodgers together and Zach looks thicker, more developed than Rodgers. It's funny, but I love watching big football players skip down the field. I know it's some kind of limbering up or exercise, but they look like big kids for a few seconds.
While watching great throws and catches with no pass rush or any real stakes is fun, my biggest takeaway and excitement is the stuff around how AR is running things…demanding better performance from his team, explaining things with Hackett in the film room, etc. That’s very encouraging and there was one tweet in there how this film room stuff and explaining it until it makes sense is different than it’s been in the past…that speaks to both AR and also Hackett as OC too I’ll admit…lord knows I wasn’t really in favor of the Hackett hire outside of it helping to get AR here, but now hearing stuff like that is very exciting and encouraging. Being a great coach involves two main things…(1) understanding the game and how to game plan, and (2) being able to communicate and teach the concepts to players…like, you know, actually talking with them and working with them. Gase may have had the first part down (maybe?) but didn’t feel like he had the second part down. Maybe the same for MLF. Anyways, if these things are actually true and it’s a different feel to meetings, communication, accountability, etc. then that’s all great stuff.
I read they are hoping he's well enough to start the season. To me that means we won't see him at least until preseason.
The Rodgers presser was really good. He said motivation comes from within but inspiration can come from anywhere. He is an impressive fellow. The coverage over the years has not done him justice. Glad he is here.
