There aren't any real journalists in the sports media anymore.
It's all bloggers, click-baiters, blowhards, & shills for some legal-betting conglomerate.
Then there's the local beat reporters, who just report on stories reported by other local beat reporters.
People just need to learn some patience... me included.
Because in the end, we all know about as much as they do... speculation, innuendo, & a big duh.

    Double Ugh...

We don't need the extra drama that OBJ brings.

Not to mention the extra payroll that could (SHOULD!) be going to improve the line

I noticed that RB from the Lions wasn’t on his wish list, Williams.
I guess we’re out on him as well as Thielen?

Woody came out the day our season ended and said that we were going to be bringing in a veteran quarterback for next season. Almost immediately everyone said Rodgers. Obviously the Packers had some idea they were going to be moving on from him, they didn’t just wake up one morning a couple weeks ago and decide to trade the guy. There’s been talk that this was the move for 2 months now. The Red Sox Alex Rodriguez trade talks didn’t even take this long! Sorry if some of us come across impatient but we’ve been hearing about this for 2 months now. Enough is enough! Finish this shit or walk away! At this point I would almost rather just sign Brissett and not have to sign his buddies. We’re coming across as desperate. Not a good bargaining position to be in

No… you’re not taking an undersized DL at the twilight of his career to make a big push… but then not sign Q. We’re capitalizing for today but not forgetting tomorrow exists too.

Maybe you can petition the NFL and have FA and contract timing details be adjusted to better fit your schedule.

Maybe you can also have them make real time updates required public as well. I’m sure there’s no shrewdness and timing involved in negotiating multi million dollar contracts.

If it upsets you so much, don't go on Twitter, stop coming to this site, and don't look up Jets news. It really is that easy.
It's just like the people who get so pissed off about politics. Turn off fox news or MSNBC, get off Facebook, and you'll be amazed at how much happier you are.

..and who are you? What sources do you have? What's your credibility?

Stop acting so sure of yourself with people, we have the right to be pessimistic considering this has taken way longer than most of us anticipated and none of It has been made official or confirmed by anyone official.

You are acting like the spokesperson for Rodgers or the Jets. You might be right but you don't really know that either..

Unless you really are plugged In, then butter my cornbread.

we don’t know, but there’s enough smoke signs that point to AR is coming here…the Lazard signing, the talk about the contract date and 365 days, etc.

Also, I don’t think JD is a moron. If we haven’t moved on another QB its likely because JD knows AR is coming…I get that letting Carr sign with the Saints was earlier, but we have now watched other QBs like Garapolo, Winston, Darnold, Mike White, Heineke, etc. sign with other teams. I seriously doubt JD would have let all that go without some kind of knowledge and confidence that AR is coming. Otherwise, he’d be left with just Zach by now (outside of potential trades like Stafford or Tannehill), and based on two years of shitshow from Zach, I seriously doubt JD would bet the season on Zach, despite the fact that he drafted him….just too risky.

So while a lot of this has been a frustrating experience because we’ve literally heard not one shred of anything, I actually am more convinced that AR is coming now than I was last week, if nothing else, because I think JD would have made a move for a QB by now if he didn’t have AR in sight.

I don’t know anything more than anyone else, but that’s my take…

    Umm..

    Speaking of a "wish list"

Did Aaron Rodgers have any OL on that list?

Can't wait to see the new, New York Packers take the field next year. Sigh.
