Could anyone on the planet have predicted Aaron Rogers would be a Jet even several months ago? This is just bizarre.

He's never been a favorite of mine but even at about 60% is better than anything we've put on the field in years. That alone has to be reason for at least cautious optimism.

 

I'm still not sold on this move. It depends on how much draft capital JD has to give up for him. It's Super Bowl or bust with Rodgers. This move is essentially a QB rental and the ultimate "win now" move by a front office who is surely starting to look over their shoulder a bit after the last couple of seasons. If they don't win a championship with Rodgers, JD and Saleh are gone and the franchise will be back in QB purgatory again with a new GM who is going to want to bring in "his people" and rebuild.

 

This thread is killing me. I can't stand Turd Rodgers and as a (likely) Jet, I hate him already.

I'm sure I'm an army of one, but I hope he definitively says no so I can laugh even harder. I hope I get my wish, but as in all things Jets, hope is for fools.

That aside, this is Tom Cheatesque level toolbaggery like when the Cheat walked pensively in the tunnel in that attention whoring b & w photo all will I won't I won't I, try to guess! So per few sources, while AR may have agreed to go to the Jets, there is no deal finalized as the GB wants more picks. If that is true, then imo trading for Lamar Jackson May turn out to be a better investment including both short and long term.

 

I have a source who took two tabs of acid with Arod. He kept seeing green which he thought was a sign but now that he has come back down to earth he’s not sure if it’s a sign to go to Jets or stay in GB.

The wait continues.
