Are you suggesting Matt LaFleur’s scheme is vastly different from Mike LaFleur’s scheme?

    Do you even watch football?

The word is were trying to convince him to sign with us instead of retiring. That totally screams a minimum 2-3 year career with the Jets.

I figured there was something that would prevent this but didn't know. Thanks for the clarification.

They are meeting as we speak according to everything I've heard thus far. Was hoping we might get Carr, but Rodger is superior and if he can at least commit seriously for two years. The Jets will be in good shape with our roster.

Seriously. The only time Rodgers made any noise as a player was when GB stupidly drafted Love right in the midst of his prime when they needed resources on offense. We had 2 guys demand a trade on our team last year and we still love them, and Rodgers didn’t even demand anything

If it's even for a year, it's worth it. We'll be in the same position with the QB but just a year sooner.

If this happens, It better not cost us an arm and a leg. That would be very SOJ like. I'm anxious as fuck with all this.

I'm worried that a GM and HC that know they are on a playoff or bust mandate, will overspend severely In desperation to keep their jobs. They won't give a fuck If they screw over the next GM and HC, and fans.

I just keep thinking this Is going to set us back severely, can't shake It.

    I hope at this point.

They get Rodgers, at a reasonable and fair cost, without mortgaging the future to do It. No 1st round picks. No ridiculous trade compensation. I'll be content/happy.

Woody's team.. Woody's rules. Woody wanted Rodgers. Woody will most likely get Rodgers. Happiest guy on the roster? Zach Wilson.

If Rodgers has already said he was "open to playing for New York" it would seem as if has indeed made the decision to play next season. Perhaps some of the dinner conversation might include Rodgers's desire to see some of his guys like wr. free-agent Lazard or Randall Cobb join the Jets too.

For real. He gets a 2 year paid vacation to kick it with his football hero while acting like a celebrity. I think we're looking at the next celebrity Bachelor.
