I was wondering if it would ever happen... would the Media EVER hold the CS accountable/responsible for the team's play? Would they EVER stop following the company line in how they think, & interact with the CS, and actually ask obvious intelligent questions? Would they ever look past blaming all the world's problems on Zach, & believing all the other shade the CS threw at them.
Well, it looks like the light has turned on. Over the last few weeks, they've started to ask about real stuff, & challenging the CS spin on everything. It started around when Saleh played clock games, and contributed to the Jets loss.
For me (I used to work in the Media with Journalists/Reporters, & all Broadcast News types), it's always troubling when they're doing PR for the people they cover, rather than their jobs. Sad how Journalism has changed, because Journalists now make good money, & run in the same circles of those they cover.

So, I'm happy the light has turned on. I'm looking forward to JD's presser, whenever the season ends.
It'll be the first time he tastes real Media scrutiny, & I wanna see how he handles it.

No but Saleh is holding media accountable and taking receipts. To bad he doesn't hold his players accountable and lets them do whatever they want. Not once in the last 2 games where the Jets didn't show up I didn't see Saleh screaming at a player. As much as people don't like Rex even though he was the last coach to take us to the playoffs and the longest tenured coach in a long time, he was always animated and chewed players out.

Maybe I've jumped the gun... seeing a lot of articles from the beat, saying Woody should stand by the CS.
Better saying nothing than saying the insanity must continue.

The honeymoon will be over in '23-24. If another collapse happens, then Woody will step in and do what has to be done. I think Woody, thru JD, should deliver a backchannel message to Saleh to straighten this shit out or else. Playoffs has to be the mandate no excuses. The entire staff will float or sink with Saleh. If he goes, they all go including Zwilson.
