You just told westiedog1 that he had a nice post about baker and wanting him in NY and how the Panthers are bad around Baker. Did you forget you wrote that or something? Guess what? Sam Darnold and the Panthers have the second most efficient offense in the NFL since he took over for Baker. Did you forget we ran Darnold out of town? How can anyone possibly be okay with Baker Mayfield as the 2023 QB of the New York Jets. That's such an insane take.
yeah ..I did And in your irritable hostile angry post IN YOUR OPINION B. Mayfield is an "insane take" So you disagree with Westie's opinion browning brad and whoever else likes the idea So long ..you are on ignore Bub
Yes, very much so. It's an absurd take. PS - You quoted me and I responded to you. It's how a message board works. There was no anger in my response. At least I don't have to try and decipher whatever the hell you post on this board anymore. It's a truly a blessing I'm on the ignore.
It is apparent that the Jets will begin their search for a new QB at the conclusion of the season. Many names have been brought up. Some good and some know so good. One name I would absolutely stay away from is Baker Mayfield. For one he is a small QB measuring at 6-1, 215. He is listed at 6-1 but we know he is shorter. I like a larger QB whose body can take more of a pounding. For example, Daniel Jones is 6-5 230, jacoby Brisett is 6-4 230. Secondly, Baker is playing extremely well under the offensive genius McVay. His former coach Steve Wilks is a defensive guy like Saleh. Coaching at the NFL is HUGE! When a QB is being coached well they thrive. Perfect example, Geno Smith is now a Pro-Bowler who is completing 70% of his passes . Russell Wilson was a stud in that Seattle offense. Conversely look at Russell Wilson now. He is terrible. So bad that Denver already fired their Head Coach. A coach who could not even complete a year. Coaching is everything in the NFL. I believe the Jets need a veteran OC who has a track record of developing a QB like a Bruce Arians. He worked with Manning and Rothlesberger and Luck. Look at how well Tampa did under Arians. Look at how terrible they are under Bowles. Bowles is a defensive guy. The blueprint is easy. One needs to recognize it and follow it
Raiders benched carr for the remainder of the season If carr gets hurt in the final two weeks it triggers a 41 million dollar incentive. He’s so being cut
I honestly would not be in favor of signing Carr. The guy is just average, and has always been. Plus I don't think he'll fit in New York. What's the potential QB free agent list again? I'd like a veteran to push Mike White at least.
