Let's be real.....

Had hope, but was still a better year than I hoped for...another strong draft and FA ...future is looking good.

 

Isn't this the same tool that was banned before??? Something about a bar and betting sounds awfully familiar.

 

I thought we would have a chance and we did. We just didn't make a few plays we had to make:

*we needed a TD instead of FG after getting the early tunrover
*Vilma needs to make the sack on the play where he went for the strip
*we needed to hold them to a FG on 3rd down at the end of the half
*the lateral where we were driving for a tie late in the 3rd.

Even after that play we held them to a FG and were in the game, just didn't execute in some key spots. I don't think we're that far off, the Pats are a better team and were at home, but I like where we seem to be headed.

 

I also thought we would win this one. It reminded me of the oak land game 02 and I belevied we would win that one too!

 

I sure did. You sure are focused on the Jets being unable to win.

 

I was sure they would win. They had their opportunities, but the redzone offense and the defense pretty much cost them.

 

I thought it would be closer. That fricken screen pass turned fumble ended the season.

 

The two killers were only getting 3 out of a Dillon fumble on his own 11 and that ridiculous screen call.

I lay the first solidly at Chad's feet because we all KNOW how much trouble he has passing into the endzone at this point and getting 7.

The second was on Schottenheimer unless Chad changed the call at the line of scrimmage. Never ever try to fool one of Belichik's teams by running the same play over and over unless it's working for you. That play was a dead duck on Sunday and the Jets ran it 3 times.

 

Hahaha. I missed this. I'd be interested to know what the so called "#1 Jets fan" has to say.

 

I didn't think the Jets would win but i did think they had a chance to.

it was a 7 point game with 7 minutes left in 4th thats close

 

I thought we were going to win yesterday... up until the TD at the end of the first half... 55 should stick to special teams... The HC knew they had to pass (if you can read lips, these were his exact words before they went to break), we all knew they were going to pass, the fans in the stadium knew it, and everyone around the world watching did... so rather than play pass, what does Chatham do, bite on a playfake (not even a good one at that) instead of covering the TE, who coincidentally was his man, and they score a TD instead of a field goal. We need someone with at least 1/2 a brain to play inside with Vilma...
