    The season is officially over and many, if not all, of us were surprised with its outcome. I'm sure the results of this poll will come at no surprise.

    9- Never in my wildest dreams could I envision this team being a 10 win team and playing the Pats tough in foxboro. 10 would be reserved only for a SB winner

    I give it an 8, but probably a 7.5. We lost a few we should have won, lost some close ones and for the most part played competitive football. Future looks good.

    8-8.5....way better than anyone could have expected. Would have been a 9 with a win yesterday.

    I also gave it an 8. Super Bowl win would have been a 10, beating NE or winning a playoff game (or the division) would probably have been a 9 for me.

    I give it an 8. We accomplished a lot with what we had to work with. Despite the supposed "weak" schedule, the AFC is still the more difficult of the two.

    Next year the bar raises, however. Our schedule gets tougher and we have to step it up just to get to 10-6 again, IMO.

    10- only if team wins SB
    9- must win at least one playoff game
    8- highest I'll grade a season that features no playoff win

    I gave it an 8 as well. Beating NE would have given them a 9, and 10 if we made it to the AFC Champ. My rating was based on what we expected and got in return.

    I give it an 8. We installed a new O and D, developed a rookie center, LT and a very nice 3rd down back. We added depth in the D secondary, developed a highly talented starter at WR and added depth at WR. We beat most of the teams we should have and made the playoffs without backing in. We have almost all of our important players signed. We have a huge amount of cap room and 3 picks in the first two rounds. We have a head coach who looks like he is allready one of the top guys in the league and someone who can compete with BB.

    If you compare todays team with the team we had at the same time last year, we have made a huge, almost incalcuable leap in 1 year. We not only started the process to a SB, we are one of a handful of teams that are really in a position to be considered building to one.

    Waiting for the RobA vote on this one. Based on his expectations he may rate the season as a 6 or worse.

    I say 6

    7= win WC game
    8= win divisional game
    9= win Confrence champ.
    10= win super bowl

    Considering circumstances with a new coach and system, and last years record I guess a 7-8 though. Previous table is from here on out though.

    I gave it a 9 just because I expected them 4-12 this year

    Based on my preseason expectations this team performed great and I feel deserved a 9-10. I gave them a 10 because I believe that better shows how well this team has played this year.

    Considering where we came from I gave this season a 9.

    We learned alot this season. Chad can actually play a whole season. Rhodes is a stud! D-rob can play. The o-line should be in good hands with Mangold and d-brick as our foundation.

    I guess if I had higher expectations I would have given a different rating. I wonder what the gaints fans think about their season!

    I say 9 because we were all surprise that we went the playoffs and we got 10 wins. Going to the playoffs this year really sets us up to becoming an elite team next year. A few signings and a few great draft picks, we have to elite team.

    This is exactly my reasoning. A season is a 10 only if it wins with the Jets holding up the Lombardi trophy. And given my preseason expectations, this was an incredible season. The team seems to be on the right track with a lot of young players getting valuable experience and still making the playoffs. Mangini and the staff did a great, great job.
