Mims spent a season and 5 games in the doghouse because he didn’t know every single route at every single WR position. Elijah Moore speaks out about lack of touches and sits a game and gets blackballed from the next 2 games. Zach Wilson clearly doesn’t know the purpose of the plays, clearly doesn’t understand the strategies of an NFL defense or offense, and can’t even have the common decency to set his feet and at least try to use good mechanics to make a good throw. He has not improved in any tangible form at his position yet he’s allowed to completely shit on our chances to get into first place. The coaches are going to lose their credibility fast for this double standard. You already see the WR’s expressing their dissatisfaction out there on the field.
That was a really tough game all around but I really thought Wilson had a terrible game. It looked like somewhere between 6 to 8 of those throws were "Zach throws" where he just blew it accuracy/mechanic/yipped it wise. Threw another non interception where it was only by the grace of the football gods it wasn't official. He's lucky he doesn't have 5 more than he does this season.
Wilson could have had a better game but I blame the oline as well and MLF he had 2 weeks to game plan and they could not even run block.

Why did they not run the ball more, why cant they block. The best players on this team are the running backs ......why are they not using them more?
Zach will not be benched. We will read all the usual explanations and excuses starting with Belichek destroys young QB's. Evidently Belichek also destroys young OC's too. So, next week Zach will look decent and all sins forgiven. Typical Jets post-bye performance on offense.

Why did they not run the ball more? Because there was no way to run, it's pretty obvious stack the line stop the run, Wilson is completely useless, shouldn't even be playing, he's fucking terrible

The oline was terrible Zach had a bad game game but for this team to have any success they need to run the ball. make controlled passes, but every time they are in third and long 59 yards rushing is terrible. run blocking should the easiest blocking. Come on Zach was bad but this is not all him MLF put together a horrible game plan and the oline sucked
Last time I saw the coaching staff fail this badly in holding our QB to account Geno Smith was throwing pick sixes every week.
they were getting penetration with 4 pass rushers it is easy to stop the run when you cant run block. This team lives and dies on how well they run. BB is not a genius he just beat a team that cant block run or pass block and put the ball in an average qb. Any qb would look horrible behind this oline.
