I hope it is not serious. He seems like a good kid. I hate the Bills a lot less than I hate the Pats and Dolphins.
hopefully not, but the mechanics of throwing a football like that is a bit different that throwing a baseball
Josh Allen has been a classy guy as long as he has been on NFL. I wish him well. Hope it isn’t anything serious.
He was rubbing that elbow after the third down incompletion but still threw it 70 yards on the next play…..I’m guessing it’s something they’ll monitor for now.
I don’t root for injuries but I won’t shed a tear if he has to miss time. Just as I’m sure Bills fans didn’t shed a tear about any of the Jets injuries.
Oof I hope it's nothing crazy like needing Tommy John surgery. I never root for injuries. First of all, it's a cruel thing to do. But I also, in this case, want to see the Jets beat the Bills at their best, not in part due to their star QB being out. Yeah it'd be amazing if the Jets were able to beat Buffalo later in the year and passes them in the standings, but it would be even better if they did with Josh Allen at QB.
I saw a report where the team doesn’t think it’s as bad as the 2018 injury. I’m thinking at worse he misses maybe 2-3 games but most likely he’ll be questionable for the next game. They may have the option of allowing him to play against the Vikings but may play it safe and have him sit out that game only….
I don't think him throwing the ball after hurting his UCL really means anything. Seen people with a broken collarbone take a snap before or people with a bum knee run the next play. Adrenaline kicks in before you really know what's going on with your body. However, I do think it's a bad thing they didn't say much yesterday. They know damn well what's wrong with his elbow, the kid is the face of their franchise for next decade+. They know.
