I dont have a loser's mentality. Im pissed over this loss, but im not ready to overlook all the good done and accomplished by Tangini. Maybe it was the final 5 minutes of the game when I realize the season was over. We made some mistakes : Vilma going for the fumble, Poteats BS pass int., Chad's laterall, lack of run game early, settling for FG after FG in the red zone, but it was a great game by our guys. We gave the big bad Pats a run for there money, and played w/ them for 50 minutes . I hate that bitch Belichick rubbing salt in the wound on the Jets by putting in Vinny for the final snap. Thanx Chad for a great gutty season, not the biggest arm in the NFL but plays w/ a chip on his shoulder and plays with the leadership and fire that any NFL team's fans would want to lead there team. Coles N cotch played tough all year, going up snagging balls going over the middle, Cotchery the new proclaimed Pats-Killer. Brick and Mangold took there lumps but fought to the end. Ferguson looked overmatched at times but I have faith in a good strength off season program. D-Rob from big pussy to big man up front showed vast improvement and maybe he does have a spot in our future plans. Big Vic good year at Lb and Bryan Thomas turning into the beast he showed at the combine. Rhodes snubbed of pro bowl made many big plays on sunday, stud in the making. Nugent + Graham + Westhoff + Miller tag-teaming to make a phenomenal special teams unit. Electric Leon, Ellis was a leader on D w/ Vima. Ah well great year great memories, I really connected w/ this team more then recent Jets teams. Keep your head up Jets fans, tough times like these make the celebration of victory that much more sweeter. Here's to 28 mil under the cap, the redskins 2nd round pick and 07 :cheers:
Usually after a playoff loss I am devastated. I am very upset, don't get me wrong, but the future is very bright and i cannot wait until next year.

Amen. I also live in NE. While there are some true blue die-hard Pats fans out there the vast majority that I've met are casual fans that would never bother to watch a game if the team wasn't winning.
yep, very happy with the season, but still pissed about the loss, thought we could have done better but still proud of the team and of chad. well done jets and i look forward to a better and deeper year in 07/08
Yeah i'm mad about the loss but you cant overlook all the good things the Jets did this year. I'm proud to be a Jets fan and i would go to war with Chad Pennington anyday. I cant wait for next year.

all i can say is J-E-T-S Jets Jets Jets.. this loss was bad, but im extremly happy that we made it to the playoffs, im upset we lost, but proud to make it this far.. next season is gonna be huge for us. .cant wait
I feel exactly the same. After that Steelers lost I couldn't eat and sleep for weeks. I'm disappointed we lost and we had our chances but I'm excited to see what the Jets will do this offseason. And to see what next year will bring. I think we are ready to be a elite team next year and not sneak into the playoffs every year. (2002, 2004, 2006)

I'm disappointed, but it's not like 04' when I couldn't even move the next day... We've seen the future... and even though we lost today we went down fighting... we saw creativity in the playcalling even though it cost us at times and we saw aggressiveness on defense which also cost us at time but also kept the score close most of the game... the Pat's have slightly more talent right now but the chances we took gave us our best chances to win... I'll take that everytime over playing a game not to lose as we did the previous 4 years... We saw everyone of our draft picks from the last 4 years make significant improvements... and even though Vilma didn't have a great year he led the team in tackles This staff has turned around a franchise in freefall in a season... The future is bright... I can't wait for it to get here
Agreed. Proud of this team. We will only get better. I have absolute faith in Tannenbaum and Mangini to get us to where we need to be. We need to focus on the draft now, not free agency. Counting down until the '07 Draft. Can't wait for it. Herm Edwards is history. The future is bright.
