ZW has flashes of brilliance interspersed with long periods of doing not much and then occasionally shitting the bed. On most teams you get maybe 12-16 starts like this before they decide to move on. However he was the #2 overall pick and he was a huge bet by JD and the odds are pretty good they leave in the same purge, likely after 2023. The flashes will keep getting him another chance, the smell of shit will cause the fans to boo, but what will remove him from the picture is either the rest of the team getting good enough that you can't defend running him out there (JD maybe survives the purge) or another collapse by the Jets into the fetal position (JD goes first and then ZW follows.)
I am not sure that Zach has gotten worse. I think we just failed to appreciate that Corey Davis and Breece Hall were always there to bail him out until now.
We may need to change the criteria for Zach, you know. Throw less than 1 INT per game. Don't wait longer than 5 seconds per snap to throw or run the ball.
At this point, almost anyone else would be an upgrade. We're just competent QB play away from being a playoff contender this year. With Wilson playing like this, we're likely headed to another last place finish.

I am he sucks he missed open guys AGAIN he passes up open guys short to miss deeper he’ll make the occasional nice deep throw but he continues to be inaccurate and he just can’t read the field well enough don’t know how much is just him vs the offensive scheme but whatever the reason it is not a good match he gets this year but I’m more down on him than I’ve been…this was a winnable game and he gave it away with those stupid picks

I've lost faith at this point. After watching those two asinine INT's..... Both were easily avoidable and unnecessary. You can not be that stupid and be a starting QB In the NFL. You just can't. He doesn't see the field, he holds the ball for an ungodly amount of time. The kid never should've been drafted. I'm so pissed off right now. EDIT: If this post one day gets turned around on me because a miracle happened and ZW figured It out to become our FQB for years to come. Fuck you still. The Pats came out with the goal of stopping our running game first and foremost, and challenge Wilson to beat them. They stopped the running game (only 51 yards) and Wilson was exposed for what he really is.
