As I write this NE are leading us 37-16. It was an entertaining match, with a heartbreaking outcome. Honestly I feel we are as good a team as NE. But sometimes you win, and sometimes you loose. It's not difficult to predict the next 100 threads in here. 60 about how Clemens (who the hell is Clemens) should have, would have and will lead us to playoffs next year. While the thread also aims a hit a Pennington. (Comeback player of the year, and hopefully starting again next year) 30 threads about next years draft, and about THE next something and THE next something else. And some threads hitting out at someone as a scapegoat.
This thread is dedicated to the surprisingly awesome season, this franchise has given us. It's been fun watching the Jets this year. From the 41-0 thrashing in Jacksonville to the upset at New England. It's all been good. And even though we loose tonight, we showed up, and gave them a fight for their money.
    For me at least:

Kerry Rhodes, Leon, Chad, Coles, Cotch, Smith and many others, gave me a good season. And next year will be even better. We have an awesome cap-situation, and are in good position to open the division. Remember, most of you thought we were going into a 6-8 season at best. And we were supposed to be rebuilding.

    Thank You New York Jets.

    Oh.... :jets: :pats_suck:

I thought there was a lot to be happy about and very little to be upset about.

    Dear Chad,
Thanks for being a true warrior. Next year we'll give you some help. Hang in there.

Yeah this was an outstanding season to watch as a Jet's fan. We got to see our team outperform all expectations and stretch the Pats into the second half in Foxboro in the playoffs.

The mistakes we made this year were largely of inexperience and that's the one area that's guaranteed to get better with a year's passage.

Huge thanks to Woody, Tannenbaum, Mangini, Chad, Schotty, Sutton and all the Jet players for playing up to the Jet's possibilities this year and not accepting a down season.

If you squint a little you can kind of see a pathway forming in front of us that will allow the Jets to ascend to the NFL elite. There's a lot of hard work to be done but the first steps were firm and graceful.

I've never felt better about being a Jet's fan than I do heading into this offseason.

I was going to start a thread about how proud I am of this team but you pretty much summed it up for me. Anyone who is ashamed or disappointed in this team just doesn't get it. The Jets went from 4-12 to 10-6 with a playoff birth. That is a huge turn around in just one year. Also today was another example in my mind of how without Chad the Jets go nowhere. Chad was the reason the game was as close as it was for almost three quarters.

Thank you for a great season and giving the fans something to look forward to next year.

    Jetman

I need about two months before I feel better. I am miserable right now. Can we recruit OJ or somebody to murder Tom Brady.

We're gettin there. Rome wasn't built in a day. We have a nice foundation going with a combination of staff and personell. I absolutley love our core guys, and look foward to Tamgini adding to them at the draft. Sure up the run D, right side of the O line. I think we're agonizingly close, and i am thrilled about the direction this team is heading.

We lost this game on offense not defense. Tom Brady will become beatable as soon as our offense puts up enough points to do it. We're headed that direction.

Tough loss to swallow. But I'm still proud to be a Jets fan. I don't care if we got 10-6 and lose in the wild card, win a superbowl, or go 0-16, I'm still gonna be a New York Jets fan, and I will still bleed Green and White!

Eric Mangini has revived this franchise!

Just saw that Pennington pilled up 300 yards against the Pats defence away, in the playoffs. That's not bad...

Misleading. He couldnt get it in for TDs. He misses the zip factor. Brady zipped the second score in there which was a throw Chad cant make.
