If todays game doesnt prove it , I dont know what else to say.

As much as I like Leon, we need to address Rb in the off season or draft.

We cannot depend on Chad to throw the entire game, we need a back with some vision or something.

Still proud of this team, who would of thought 10-6, and were only going to get better.

if u told me Chad was going to pass for close to 300 yards I would have bet the house. But yeah, Chad cannot do it all.

That pass rush and run D HAS to be addressed too.

we need a big running back that can actually run through the tackles and then maybe we won't have to pass every time its 3rd and short

We need a better offensive line. I think Leon Washington has plenty of grit and big play ability to be a featured back. Particulary since he can (a) pick up tough years (IMO), (b) make a big play, and (c) catch the ball out of the backfield. Give him a couple of monster run blockers on the OL (i.e., LG, RG, RT) and he will produce.

We can't run and we can't stop the run.

    RB
    DT
    OLB
    OG
    That's what we need

Yepp, a gamebreaking RB is needed. Leon is good but is not the answer and doesn't break enough tackle to get tough yards.

A big RB along with bigger linemen. Moore and/or Clement need to be upgraded badly.

Tell me how many running backs that you know of that the Jets should be able to get in this upcoming draft that could run effectively with this present, young, o-line?

The o-line was not getting any push, so how is anyone going to run through that? Other than Adrian Peterson, what other running back would you suggest? Marshawn Lynch runs all right, but for as big as he is, he has not broken a lot of tackles this season!

I'm all for legitimate suggesions that make sense. A soft running back like Michael Bush? Kenny Irons? (Nah, then you'll have complaints about his size).

Leon's 11 carries is hardly a gauge of how he will succceed. More importantly, as you all had seen and some may refuse to acknowledge, Leon did start picking it up when he started getting near the double digit carry plateau. If nothing else, I'm just glad that some of the people on this board will never have a chance to be GM's! The way some people whine on here is an absolute microcosm of what virtually every other fan in the league thinks of us! All we are to other fans are a bunch of "The sky is falling" chicken littles!

The biggest keys are guard play and continued improvement at the tackle spot.

We just need someone to compliment Leon. Cut Barlow, Blaylock, and Houston this offseason, and get a power back to get the other half of the carries. But don't draft anyone early.

The line played like Shit today, Brick looks to be OK, not the 4th pick in the draft. He has allowed 10+ sacks and that turnover is on him, he should have cut block or something on the end. The jets were moving on that drive and he fucked it up. That one play was the game changing play.

After this game i see that Leon will probably only be used situationally for plenty of screens and outside runs. We could do with a feature back

The #1 priority this offseason has to be to improve the DL. After that it's a question of whether you want to build the offense around a RB or a QB and go from there. Obviously if the Jets go with the 2nd option Chad is out.
