Here are the last 2min 15secs of the game, so you can see the finish. It'll only be there for 24 hours, before it's deleted ----> Jets Comeback
Thanks! The problem with young players is they make mistakes, but OTOH they don't know when they're supposed to lose. We may have seen the changing of the SOJ culture today. Fingers crossed.
Just a catch, not a TD, not even a first down (although it was a great effort) - no reason to celebrate, that's what his job is. Now, this week was a different story.
I'm fine with rookie mistakes as long as they are being committed by rookies. Speaking on Garrett Wilson, Breece Hall, Jeremey Ruckert, Max Mitchell, and Sauce Gardner. All of them, besides Ruckert, the first 2 weeks has shown some really good things and also had at least one mistake. The issue I have is with guys committing rookie mistakes who aren't rookies. Looking at Tyler Conklin and Lamarcus Joyner.
I was driving back from Lake George listening to the game and I went from, fuck another double-digit loss to OMG what the hell just happened, in a span of what seemed like seconds. It was painful not being able to see it all live, but, a helluva win.
Same thing here. I went on a fishing charter in RI yesterday and got back to my in-law's in time to watch the first half through my Sunday Ticket app. Facing a 2.5 hour ride back to my house, my wife and I decided to leave at the half. I found the game on SXM and listened to it in the car. I finally got to watch the second half this morning. What a game.
Interesting take on the game from a Cleveland beat writer: https://www.cleveland.com/browns/20...es-after-browns-loss-to-jets-terry-pluto.html Jets QB Joe Flacco on that Davis TD: “We were running (receivers) on both sides (of the field). It looked like the safety went (to the other side) and the corner stayed low...no one was anywhere near him...it was really a weird feeling how quiet it got down there.”
I keep watching the Corey Davis TD over and over. How in the world is any receiver left that wide open under ANY circumstance, never mind in a situation where a pass play of that nature is the obvious call?
I said last week that this was a game I thought the Jets had ZERO shot at winning...This crow I'm eating today is tasty!
Is there any truth to the rumor that at that exact moment Flacco calmly said "never tell me the odds?"
it's a stitiscal anomaly not a real win... i mean it COUNTS and all... but.... Browns coulda run the clock out and didnt.,.. thats the ONLY way we win.. so... a gift from the football gods
