You are going to give a team that is a serious contender for the Super Bowl the main thing they need? The broncos are a team the J-E-T-S must get paas to be a contender themselves. It will be worst them when the bengals gave the patriots Dillion. The one thing they needed to keep them at the top of the league. Denver will have to be the favorite win it all if the J-E-T-S give them John. Send him to the NFC.

Umm, Yeah, when did the pats beat the bengals using their ultimate running game to get to the super bowl?

By the time we're ready to go to the big game, denver will be old and forgotten.

The guy doesnt want to be here. I like abe and we need him but he does not want to be a jet. I just want at least a first rounder for him. Not trading him to an AFC team is stupid. Ok i understand not trading him to an AFC east rival. I just hope the lions are still interested because that number 9 pick is looking real good compared to the number 22 or 29.

I think he would like to be a jet still. He just wants to get paid. As far as him saying that he proved he could play a whole season, well he did, but it was just one season. I would keep him and see if he could play another whole season. If he could then I would give him his contract. Nuff said.

Since that is exactly what was said last year, what reason would he have to believe it? The fact is that Abraham stayed healthy, and played at a comparable level to what he did in the past, yet the Jets are still not interested in signing him long-term. That is their right, but I think Abraham has a lot more right to be ticked off this offseason than he did last year's. To me the only issue is the idea that a team shouldn't keep a player who doesn't want to be here. If you subscribe to that belief, then Abe has to go.

if i was the jets i would explore all possibilities at first like detroit,atlanta,browns.... before pulling the gun on this deal.. you no i though abraham value went up after this new cba agreement.. and by the way abraham is worth more than a #29 pick... i dont care what anybody says i no he is injury-prone but i will always remember J.abe as a clutch player.. whenever we need a sack or a stop the most he was there. and for all u guys dissen abe your crazy. if i was him i would be pissed off to considering ellis got a huge deal last year and he isnt half as good as abe..

ABE IS NOT A ALL AROUND TALENT! He can only rush the passer. We will be able to counter that with scheem and other guys stepping it up. Ellis go his deal because he is an all around player, he can stop the run, rush the passer and hold the edge on tosses and sweeps.

I honestly think we can get 22 out of Denver...if they want him bad enough they will cough up the better pick.

We won't even be a factor next season. Like others have said, once we are a contender Denver will be rebuilding.
