The New York Jets did not tender an offer to LB Mark Brown and he is now an unrestricted free agent.

Undersized back up OLB who doesn't fit the new scheme.

    What scheme?

Mark Brown is a versatile backup. But he is just that: a backup. There is no rush to signing him. It isn't like he is drawing league-wide attention from DCs.

Yeah, he would be cheap and he's a decent backup player. I don't see any reason to let him go... it won't save money.

They will most likely re-sign Brown and Wright soon, if they are not in talks already. I would think anyway.
