We’ve talked about the hypothetical scenario of signing Kwon for a while. Well, it’s official now. How we feeling TGG? I think it’s a decent move, not sure it moves the needle for our LB group dramatically but it def gives us another body there which is very welcome at this point. I still envision CJ and Quincy getting the most PT but at least we have a decent depth piece behind them now.
Championship!!! Wait that wasnt my line damn it. I like this a lot and have been wondering why we didn’t do it sooner. Glad we could finally work it! Let’s goooooo
What I love about signings like this is the value it brings to the youth. I feel like it's so impactful for up and comer's to witness 1st hand how exactly they are expected to play. Sent from my Pixel 6 Pro using Tapatalk
This move made too much sense not to happen. Saleh n company probably watched DWCs fav player look like dog shit these past two days and JD pulled the trigger.
Easily our second best LB. I like this more because it sends a message even if minor. Players with options are choosing the Jets. It’s a culture statement which is almost as important as the impact he’ll make on the field.
I like this, for a few reasons: A-the low round converted safety’s we took last year, will be cut next year B-Kwon or Williams can potentially replace Mosley, I think? And if so… C- If we are able to move Quincy or Keon over to mosleys spot next year, this might lead to Quincy getting an extension in the off-season. That might encourage his moron gun smuggling brother to take less $
He's the second best linebacker on the team now. He bridges the gap for Nasrildean and Sherwood. Added plus he knows the system.
He may very well be. This CS loves Quincy though so I wouldn’t be that surprised if he outsnaps Kwon. I like the experience he brings and def agree he’ll be a great resource for everyone in the LB room not named CJ. I do think Kwon will get more of the “obvious passing situation” snaps, so we’ll see how it shakes out.
Good signing. Curious about the Financials though. I'm not expecting much given his injuries and sounds like his recent play wasn't great, but seems to be a scheme fit and was a great player not that long ago. Worthwhile add for sure. I could see anything from being a legit contributor on defense to not making the team
nice really wanted us to grab him. perfect fit if healthy and boosters the LBer group a lot. I guess this means quincy is a backup now with sherwood
