How we feeling about this?? Personally, I'm a little let down, as I thought they'd go with the classic 80's style helmets and potentially give us a throwback uniform for this season but I do think these helmets are pretty clean.
Feel like white JETS lettering with green border (like the jerseys) and black facemask would look better. A lot more consistent. Looks fine, nonetheless.
Matt finish looks great honestly I love the shade of green on our normal helmets too but the logo is so boring should’ve kept the classic football logo
Matte finish, yes. Design, no. Awful. I dont care all that much about these things but this seems like a letdown considering how much chatter there has been about kelly green throwbacks over the last few years.
Totally agree…we should’ve just gone back to the Namath era look…the problem is that on todays uniforms there are no sleeves so you can’t do the cool shoulder stripes like Namath had…you end up with the dumbass half stripe shit we’ve had but that classic logo with the football shape and the NY should never change. of all the things they could’ve done…could’ve even kept the football shape and had a skyline silhouette or something cool…Instead the best they could come up with is the word Jets …like we have one of the coolest team names and the absolute lamest logo
Not a fan of the black. Jets = green and white. I don't even like current jerseys they have been wearing these past few seasons. They should go back to their classic look.
Opposing teams will never see what's coming now............. aside from a billion $ sports franchise having one of the most generic logos in sports

Not a fan. Happy they finally went with a matte helmet but this just feels lazy. We're not even getting new alternates just adding a helmet. I am whelmed.
I’m a fan of the all black unis so having a black helmet makes sense. Im absolutely shocked how many Jets fans are clamoring for that old 80s look which was atrocious back then and still is.
Matte helmets are usually cool but these are a really mediocre effort. Needs more white to contrast the black. The pearlescent green paint on our normal helmets is probably the best part of our new uniforms. Seems odd to change the helmet of all things.
