I was just watching the end of that horribly played kc/colts game. one of the broadcasters said that bb had his patriots play so hard last week cause when he had to play the colts he would play them at home as opposed to on the road in the dome. That comment just really pissed me off.
Better to be pissed off, than pissed on. Don't let it bug ya...we will surprise and beat the Patriots.
Definitely I heard that as well. Whatever I don't think people realize that we had a very good road record and the noise shouldn't affect us since we are so used to the no huddle offense and changing plays at the line of scrimmage.
Don't worry, if the Jets win tomorrow, they will act like they knew it all along and nobody will ever hold them accountable for it.
um.... it is when the jets win tomorrow. and i spoke to one of my friends and told him he is taking me out to lunch this week to celebrate the jets moving on.
yep and alot of our numbers are squed (sp i know i spelled that wrong) because of the 41-0. i think alot of people would be shocked if they just looked at our last 8 games when everyone espically the defense turned around.
In any event, the Colts have the three seed and the Pats are guaranteed to be on the road after tomorrow even if they win.
no, they weren't looking past us. the commentator was speaking in terms of the Pats POV, not his own. he was saying the Pats wanted to win so they would play the Colts at home if they face them. not that the Pats were going to beat the Jets, and then beat the Chargers, and the Colts are going to beat the Ravens, and the Pats/Colts matchup was innevitable. you see the long string of events that have to occur to make your interpretation applicable? to say the broadcatsers are looking past the Jets you would also have to say they were also looking past the Bolts and Ravens as well, which is just a ridiculous position to take. don't be so defensive, it helps in understanding what is actually said.
The comentators were obviously refering to next year, duh. Everyone knows the Jets are winning this game.
