It’s definitely a big help. my daughters were in high school when this came out. They had a little dry erase calendar in their room. I used to go fill in the boxes with this songs lyrics . Drove them nuts.

I think Mad World is a really good song. I like how the tempo is so upbeat but the lyrics are just morbid. But I pretty much hate every other song they've ever done.

That was the first version that I heard. It was in Donnie Darko and I instantly loved it. It's so dark. The music fit the lyrics perfectly. Then I heard it used in the Gear of War trailers, which are awesome. It wasn't until a few years after that that I found out it was a Tears for Fears cover. I had to listen to the original even though I hate TFF. Oddly enough I liked the original for the reasons I stated in my other post.

I hate this song. The funny part is that it was about her husband. Some time after the song became an annoying hit they got divorced after he started banging her best friend. It gets better. She then married the ex-husband of the best friend that her first husband was banging. You're still the one! I guess. I don't know.
