Straightforward opinion. Clear and fair. And helpful, for a schlub like me.

Straightforward opinion masquerading as analysis. "Have the angle"?? Angles come in degrees. Show a clip, NC. Or show humility. One or the other. You're better than this, dude.

If they rate Pickens over Wilson I have lost all faith in this regime.

I personally have Brown & McLaurin flipped. I'm not sure why Brown has the lowest valuation of he, Metcalf & McLaurin. The money for all 3 seems slightly low, but not much. I think all 3 will want to hit the 9-figure threshold even if it's partly funny money.

Diontae Johnson is ok and all but man does that dude drop a lot of passes especially through contact because he’s so light. It’s somewhat a function of the offense and Roethlisberger’s lack of arm strength but he caught a ton of little bullshit passes and check downs. I don’t think he’s worth that bread.

Straightforward fact. I have no need to prove that I am right and I could care less whether you guys accept it or not. I KNOW that I am right, and know that if you watched game film of Burks, that you would see that I am correct, and that's enough for me. If you guys are too lazy to go and watch game film of Burks, that's on you. It's not my job to do your homework for you. Posters who have watched game film on Burks and/or the Matt Waldman analysis video of Burks know that I'm right, and that is sufficient.

The more I think about it the more it really feels like we'd be reaching for a WR at 10. i don't think its a big enough position of need ATM to reach for a player if there are picks like Hamilton, or Gardener or Linderbaum, who are much closer to blue chip players at positions of need. Or trade down from 10.

As it currently stands, take edge at 4, BPA at 10, and WR at 35. This seems like the wisest approach.

Or maybe we have (gasp) differing opinions?

When a WR outruns DBs who are there when he made the catch and others who are downfield and have the angle on him, it's not open to a matter of opinion, it's fact! I'm not talking about bad angles, either. I'm talking about DBs who took the proper angle, were running full out, and who should have been at least able to hit Burks and slow him down, if not bring him down, and Burks beat them to the the spot on the field. Slow WRs cannot do that. Looking slow is one thing. Beating DBs who aren't slow to a spot on the field is another. You're free to call it whatever you like. I don't care if you don't like Burk. That's no skin off my nose.

Andre Johnson may have run a 4.4 40 in college. However, he had a long career, and from what I saw toward the end of his career, I doubt he was running anything close to 4.4 even though he was still tremendously productive. Let's not forget he was a very large man for a WR, 6'3" 227. I wasn't comparing these receivers to anyone. I just meant to point out that speed isn't everything in determining how good a receiver is, or will be.

Yeah that guy isn't anywhere near the others on that list IMO. Something about him bothers me

If everyone saw the same thing on film, there’d be no point to these discussions. You’d really benefit from realizing you can be wrong about things. Looks like we’re both gonna be wrong about Mims.

Also it’s not like I’m the only one seeing these things. Many scouts think he’s not fast enough. Same w London, who I could be wrong about. The best scouts are wrong at least 40% of the time my man.

Yeah seems to be an outlier he’s a stud route runner, but I also probably would put him a touch below the others. But would also take him lol
