It’ll be hilarious if the Seahawks pick turns into Kyle Hamilton (a better safety prospect than Adams ever was)
hutchinson would be nice. I don't think we draft a CB with a premium pick. I could see us going edge and then trading down for more picks.
I certainly hope you're right. And yes ... the numbers were overwhelming last night. Its amazing they were in a position to steal that game. Its even more amazing that Seattle is 7th in the NFL in points allowed per game. That said ... I'd still put my money on Wilson, Lockett and Metcalf over anything the Lions and Texans are showing up with ... and their defenses are equally as bad. 5-12 is realistic for them. And I honestly can't rule out a 6th win over the Bears.
No tanking this year Brook!! We have to get out of that mentality. Sent from my SM-G986U using Tapatalk
CBS has us taking Thibodeaux and Neal https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft...e-on-quarterback-class-filled-with-questions/
The best pass rusher AND best pass protector in the draft. That would be a historic draft. No way the Jets do something that special
I really like the talent in the 2nd round this year. If we can get an edge with our 1st pick i'd like to slide down for more picks. wydermeyer should be a target for us and outside of him load up on Lbers, a RG, RB, a 2nd TE, maybe a RT and a safety or 2.
I ran through their schedule yesterday and landed on this too. I’m sure Adams is acutely aware of the situation too which makes the current order sweet
The Texans beating Seattle would be a wet dream. If Russ can’t grip the football he’s not going to do well the remainder of the season.
Imagine getting Thibodeaux with that Seattle pick? Him and Vera Tucker would make that trade obscenely lopsided.
Is there any shot a QB goes 1-2 before we pick? I can't see Jax passing on Neal to protect Lawrence either.
I think there is about a 4% chance based on everything I’ve seen, heard, and read. It’s very unlikely.
I think it’s more likely than that. I’m telling you - a team might just fall in love with Corral. Average, maaaaybe above average at best arm, but winning intangibles, runs a somewhat difficult offense with ease and is not at all scared to run and pickup first downs. I do not think a team will move up into the top 3-5 to get him though. Houston seems like a possible landing spot though. Atlanta if they lose a bunch more games. And then I could see the Saints or Steelers moving up into the 8-10 or mid teens to get him or Pickett if they tumble. Washington is also likely in play for one of them.
It is possible since both teams picking 1 and 2 both need a QB. A wildcard is if Houston bring in new HC, because we just don't know what that would entail. I could be wrong but it seems like Deshaun Watson is most likely on the move this offseason. Maybe I'm reading it wrong, but it kind of seems like whatever happens with him will get sorted out before the draft, and that ultimately it won't impact his trade value that much. Since both Detroit and Houston will probably have additional 1st round picks in this and the next draft, I find it hard to believe they would pass on players like Hutchinson and Thibodeaux even for Corral. Not knowing what the final draft order will be does make it a little nebulous though, or maybe a Thibodeaux or Hutchinson gets hurt during the draft process. Who knows... I just think it's not likely.
