I was going to post in the “introduce” myself thread (this is my first post) and probably will. Lifetime JETS fanatic, 53 years old...family and friends think I’m nuts. But to the point of this thread question...I’m bringing my son, brother and nephew (Upstaters) to their first JETS game vs Bills Nov 14. We’re taking a tour bus, so bringing tailgate food and stuff is not possible. I’d like to take kids and brother through the parking lot area and show them the love JETS fans have and see if there’s anyone willing to help us out enjoying some pregame festivities. I’ll be more than willing to help pay our part. If not, it’s understandable. Maybe any suggestions would be all we need. I heard the Budlight tent has bands, beverages and food? Thanks in advance. Hey bud. Welcome to the board. Our resident tailgate specialist is @GreenFan15J I am tagging him here but feel free to send him a private message as well. I am sure he will be able to accommodate you guys. Say you couldn't get ahold of him, some other big tailgate group at the parking lot would welcome you and your family if you approach them nicely and tell them you are out of towners and looking to spend some quality time tailgating. There are also professional tailgates where you can buy tickets thru stubhub but they probably wouldn't give you the same experience as a typical tailgate. Stay around my friend. We welcome passionate long time Jets fans like you.
You guys are AWESOME!!! I can’t believe I’ve taken so long to join this forum. I knew die hard JET fans would come through. I can’t thank all you enough. Now I really look forward to the trip. We won’t be arriving until around 11am or so, but I’ll definitely head straight towards you. Should I ask for anyone in particular? And you said 15 j ? Thanks again, I really appreciate it!! Greenfan15J is the MAN. You won't be disappointed. I will be tailgating with my friends from Brooklyn down at lot D but if time allows, I might head to 15J to say hi to Greenfan and you. FYI Greenfan15J and his wife hosted my wife and I at their tailgate last month and it was the best tailgate ever.
