I actually thought Dierdorf did a good job calling the game. After the MNF broadcast, I was prepared to turn off the sound when I saw he was calling the game, but I decided to give him a chance. Any criticism he said was fair. He was also giving credit where credit was due.
I don't know what broadcast you guys were listening to, but it seemed to me he was throwing kudos around to the Jets the entire game. Mangini, Rhodes, Pennington, you name it. I personally was pleasantly surprised.
