The offensive game plan looked better today. The run defense struggled as expected with a couple gymnasts playing outside linebacker against the Finnish strong-men the Patriots roll out on the offensive line. There wasn't much to be frustrated with coaching-wise today. Turnovers screwed the pooch for the Jets.
Exactly. The team, minus Jamarcus Wilson, played well today. Give the team even just competent QB play today, and they are right there in the game at the end with the Patriots, even with all of the rookies that we have playing on this team.
He also looks like the type of guy who you share an elevator with and you can't concentrate on small talk because you're eating his cologne.
Was coaching scared on those two FG calls which usually results in an L instead of a W no matter how close the game is. Offense will not learn and develop by not showing confidence in them to get 4th Down yardage.
My only issue with Saleh is the way he is handling Denzel Mims. They were saying it on the post game show, there is absolutely no reason why Mims should have been scratched today. And they are misusing Elijah Moore, he is a slot WR. Mims outside, Moore slot. Why if you have a player that seems to be a playmaker, would you leave him off of th3 53? Jeff Smith? Braxton Berrios? These guys are better? Don't think so.
To be fair our fg kicker is a rookie and the game was over by the missed on in the 3rd or 4th. Might as well see if he has anything.
I don't agree with some of the more conservative decisions regarding field goals rather than going for it on fourth down.
Going for it on 4th down anywhere in enemy territory is generally the right move. We played very scared today and that's on Saleh. He wasn't the biggest reason we lost, that was clearly Wilson, but Saleh wasn't without fault.
