I've been a big critic of CP, but for at least the last 2 weeks against good defenses Chad hasn't shown me what I didn't want to see but expected to see. The deer in the headlights look hasn't been there. It's like he's not scared to lose anymore.

I don't know if he's overcome something here, and we haven't been down more than a score in either of these games but I give him a lot of credit for leading the J-E-T-S to victory in the last few games when we needed them most. I'm not calling him the next Namath or anything, I just like what I've seen the past couple of weeks. Bring it home Chad Willie, bring it home ...

I think all this "deer in the headlight" look business is just propaganda. I laugh everytime I read someone saying they watched him on TV and he looked scared. Rubbish, all of it.

There might be something to that, he did try a few throws the past two games he usually doesn't try. It hasn't necessarily led to great results, but it helps to try a few times a game anyway.

Chad is great. we play against some harsh defenses. Naming them
    Dolphins x2
    Pats x2
    Bill x2
    Oakland Passing D
    Bears
    Vikings Run D
    Jax

Those are 10 games with good Defenses and we were in every single one except the Jax game. The other game that Chad was of in that he shouldn't had was the browns game. When he needed to do good such as the Green Bay game and lions game he did just that. We get too hard on Chad but he did play some tough defenses.

I'm not sure if you're joking or not but I have seen it and can now even call it when I see it and know the Jets aren't going to win. It's been absent as of late, and that's the way I like it.

Yes. It is now, and always has been, crap. If Pennington ever had anything, he had the will to win.

good post..although I kind of agree with Jetzz on the deer in the headlights theory. Pennington, like all QB's, looks frustrated at times. Then again, we have seen Brady throw his arms up in disgust, scream and yell earlier in the season when he looked around and noticed not one receiver with a ring on his finger left in the bunch.

We have seen the elder Manning brother have the deer in the headlights look..and he is one the best in the business. Chad just seems a bit more comfortable in his own skin. Sometimes a QB needs to grow into his limitations?...make sense? lol. Im not the biggest Chad fan...and the next game he plays and the Jets cant do anything because teams are playing 8 guys in the box out of a lack of respect...Im going to kill him again.

That said, hes a good guy..a tough as nails QB...and I totally agree with your post.
