I expect them to draft one late in the next draft if they don't find Cinderella on the waiver wire this year. There's some pretty solid kicking prospects projected next year.
I heard one earlier during the commercial break on the remote feed but it didn't sound like more than a handful of people.
Will Reichard? Perfect for Bama last season https://www.espn.com/college-football/player/_/id/4567104/will-reichard
Looking at the Zach Wilson highlights it seems the team is very crisp, if not super-effective yet, with Wilson-Saleh. Hope it keeps up. Good sign.
He's awesome, it always shocks me when people dog teams for drafting a kicker or punter when it's such a huge part of the game.
Morgan Moses was quirky good too. This OL will be solid with AVT. Think it’s a heavy run game come real season as the big play weapons aren’t there just yet. I like this foundation though. Still a year or two away.
The call on that play was a sure SOJ thing - you need 14 so you call a 12 yard play. It's way early to throw stones here but I sure don't want to see that next week.
It was the ideal preseason opener. Zach was good enough that I don't have to read dumb posts about him being a bust, but he also didn't do anything spectacular, so I don't have to read dumb posts about him being rookie of the year.
Given the field position, I don't mind that play call; you just have to come up with a good play on 4th down, which the Jets didn't do.
Brady loves that play if your guy makes a move he picks it up if not you convert the 4th and short. That was vintage Brady. went for the vanilla preseason run up the guy that meant nothing. Nice PA rollout to the flat convert Zach would’ve marched for 7. best play of the game
He's probably only doing that while he's lower on the depth chart. Once he moves up, he won't be on STs. He led all the Jets receivers in yards tonight.
