Do you guys realize that there is no winner in a scrimmage? If Zach Wilson was lighting it up every play, posters would say "Wow, our defense looks really bad. The secondary is atrocious. I am worried!" It's a no win situation. I would not worry too much. Give the young guys some time.
Hasn’t looked good in multiple trining camp sessions. Team needs vet wb to lead team and try to improve Wilson. Not impressive in college, same here
Until they prove they are heading In the right direction by actually winning. I'm gonna stay pessimistic. I like some of the things they've done. I don't like things. We shall see how It all plays out. I think fans are going to be extremely disappointed. Per usual.
Yeah, maybe. But I really don't think it's going to be SOJ. Maybe I'm just so starved for this team to finally become a good team that's good for years not one or two seasons at best, I've lost perspective. It's entirely possible. But... The feeling I get from this team - the GM, CS, and a ton of good young - if unproven - players, is the same way I felt about the Ewbank/Namath years. And as great as they were, they too struggled in the beginning. But DAMN they were fun to watch! I hope I'm right and you're wrong.
The Jets always have an inexperienced HC, who was a good experienced DC, with a good staff on that side of the ball. They throw the rookie QB to the wolves in that environment and then they are surprised when he can't get his feet on the ground. Yell at me if you want but you all know this to be true.
A lot of people have banged the table over the years claiming this team is different. This team will be better. We finally got the right guys. Blah..blah..blah I hope this finally is the time. Again though, I'm done putting my hope Into this team until they show they deserve that support. They've done nothing but let the fans down over and over again. I am obviously not someone that truly believes In Wilson either. I hope he makes me look stupid. I'm just not convinced at all. So, I don't even have that to be excited about right now. I'm looking at It from a truthful perspective for myself. I do have hope for this CS. I do have hope for Saleh as HC. I do have hope for Douglas as GM. I still know the same dumb fuck owners run the show. I still know that nothing has been proven yet. So, until that happens. I am hopeful but I also am going with my gut. My gut tells me this team will suck this year. I don't think Wilson Is the answer either. I too. Hope I'm wrong.
So we can look forward to you chirping everytime Zach has a bad game? Wonderful. How about we give the kid a chance before crucifying him. A green and white scrimmage where the offense struggles with a rookie QB a new systems and we start with the SOJ? Give me a break.
Relax, take a deep breath. I have seen way worse before and if by week 4 he is still struggling, I will be the first to worry.

(Be prepared for me to nitpick them and rip them apart too). • And who were your top 5 career losing backup FA QBs who were "available" who you wanted over Zach Wilson? I didn't come close to crucifying the kid. I'm stating my feeling on the overall picture, for me. You are trying to make It more dramatic then It actually Is. Again. I hope the kid proves me wrong. I hope this team proves me wrong. I'm not going to jump up and down for joy until the proof Is In the pudding. That's all.
Why talk about Hall of Fame coaches here? The same could be said for Adam Gase, Rich Kotite and Charley Winner.
