When a Zach hater like Cimini said ZW had a solid day you know that means he had a very good day.

Those people will hope he sucks so they can be right, that is what it is like on here, surely you have seen them?

Some would rather they fail and be proved correct, one or two are desperate for JD to fail so they can be the "I told you so" folk

But again you are still hung up on the smaller point rather than the major points of why he had no chance to shine last season.

He may well be poor but we do not know this, that is the point I am making.

One correction: Jeff Smith is only 6'1", 195 lbs. so he isn't a big receiver.

I think Cimini is more in love with himself than hating the Jets. But he dislikes Zach more than the Jets because he went out on a limb arguing that the Jets would be wrong to trade Sam and draft Zach. Pretty much everytime he mentions Zach now he takes a dig.

That's what I figured. Easy mistake to make. Jets like to have multiple players with the same first/last name, and some with the same first and last.

Maybe he just a reserved character, all this fist pumping and stuff isn't in my nature tbh, I like to see it but not so keen to be the one doing it lol

Wilson is "almost" a lock to make the roster this year?! Unless Joe Douglas comes home and finds Zack in his marital bed with Mrs. Douglas, he's a lock bro. There is no "almost."

Correct, definitely mis-typed there. The statement was directed towards Morgan and not Wilson.

It might be ridiculous and have limited value but for the obsessive information starved fan it is one of the greatest innovations in journalism ever created.

Update on AVT. Sounds like it isn't serious which is good.

    Why?

It might say a lot about both of them or it might say a lot about one of them singular.

Also, I very much doubt Josh Johnson is ever going to be our backup QB he has attempted to throw the ball 67 times in his career, how is this any better than giving a kid a shot if the worst came to happen and ZW went down injured?

Would be cool if they used Mims there over JEFF SMITH.

Man moore really seems to be lighting it up in camp. Seems like eh can be tyrek hill 2.0 for us and him and zach have a great chemistry already. I'm feeling pretty confident moore is an opening day starter alongside davis. with crowder as WR3. cole and mims will have to battle for WR but seems cole is winning it. Kinda sad for mims as he's dropped down a lot. I liked him but not sure he's a great fit for this offense. Seems like me may be more of a red zone guy for us with his size and catch radius

Great inputs by all again. I’m thrilled to read anything and everything about this training camp development, particularly of course about Wilson. If one reads carefully the feedback on Zach performance since day one is clearly founded on extremely high expectations by all. The cynic in me rejoices noting that when Zach performance is rated as “not one of his better practices, rookie mistakes” is still better than in past years when any flash of success was rated “great practices” for our previous QBs. I expect a lot of rookie development along the way, with a good share of mistakes, but I can’t help but think this kid is very, very special. Like nothing we have had since the glory days.
