Few notes on the video. Moore working on PR and KR his cuts are ridiculous and he bursts out of his breaks Carter shows good hands working on wheel routes Wilson throws a catch-able ball very effortless and fast getting the ball down field excellent foorwork
I'll be honest and admit I haven't done much homework on Zach this draft cycle, but his footwork really stands out to me. He has a surprising amount of grace.
At 3:00, I love the combination on Moore running the out-route perfect. He breaks very quick. And after the break on the 31, coming back to the ball on the 30. Same with Wilson throwing to that out-route perfectly. Such a simple combination, but it's nice to see rookies doing these things with ease.
His cuts and burst out of the break JUMPS off the screen. Like elite level. If this can carry over into game action he’s going to catch 100 balls in this offense. edit: not this year obviously, but he’s going to be very useful as a rookie.
I don't see why it wouldn't. He was extremely productive in SEC and his measurables are comparable with all the top WRs in this draft. That video of him and AJ Brown on draft night is really telling. Brown sincerely thinks that Moore is a better player than him. That's says a lot to me.
Why is there a coach talking to him? Shouldn't he just know all this stuff by now? Gase never confused Darnold by talking to him and giving him suggestions.
It's probably silly, but I'm looking forward to seeing Wilson to Carter. Shows he's got some receiver-like hands. Coupled with his ability to create with the ball-in-his-hands, Carter (MC1?) could be the back that we've been missing since LT.
You don't even see him change direction in this one. he looks like the flash https://www.reddit.com/r/nyjets/comments/n7uhwp/bienaime_deep_out_to_moore_from_zach_wilson_crisp/
I made the mistake the mistake of listening to Mike Florio about Zach Wilson's comment "You have to earn the position". Wasted 30 seconds of time before I turn that shit off. Not one single morsel of value either pro or con. . He rambled on about some worthless nonsense like there is no competition, there is nothing to earn, I'm amazed NFL is drafting 13 year old football players, in essence a massive rambling of BS with no real purpose or substance. i don't know what he expected the kid to say. Yeh, I'm the starter, there is no competition, there is nothing to earn. Monumental waste of people's time listening to that mumbling turd. I guess if Simm's comes across so much better is because he has no competition, with a moron for a partner that fires strictly for tweeter clicks and controversial effects.
