There are worse times for this to happen.

Man, how much pain is he trying to inflict on himself at once? Just kidding, good for him. Outside of the gun incident which seemed more like stupidity than malice, Q seems like a great dude.

Judging by his personality, I was sort of wondering if Big Cuddly had discovered girls yet. I mean yeah heralded professional athlete and all but he just seems like a big kid.

The situation deserves monitoring, but I don't think it's anything to get concerned about. If anything, it could be a blessing. It will give Raskins and Jonathan Marshall a chance to get more work in and get them better prepared. Q will be fine.

The gun incident is a complete nothing burger. Charges were dropped . It’s not even a blip and I think this board is the only ones that even acknowledge it

This just means he'll be fresh for our playoff run

Also who broke this news about Quinnen's foot? Was it Rex? Had to be Rex, right?

The longer end of the timeframe here, 10 weeks, maps out to 2 weeks before training camp. Anyone with a reaction other than “dang that stinks for him” is way overreacting.

The casual fan will watch him week 1 and have no idea this even happened. Hell, even some of the intense fans will watch him *preseason* week 1 and have no clue. I guess sanity is the price we pay for being fanatics.

Maybe but I think @BrowningNagle has a valid point. He loses 8-10 weeks of on his feet training to keep conditioned. Being an NFL player doesn't just start and stop with camp as far as I understand it. They're constantly training, working out, etc. I hope he doesn't fall too far out of shape because he will have to recondition and strengthen his body after being off his feet for two and a half months.

The conservative estimate gives him 9 weeks on the field before the first game. He also isn’t going to be sitting on his couch the entire time, he’ll be able to start conditioning well before he’s cleared to return to practice at that 8-10 week mark.

    He’ll be fine.

The news could have been a lot worse.....as long as he’s fit and ready in September.

He probably broke his foot trying to carry his new bride over the threshold! The whole 'he broke his toe working out' is just cover. He probably limped into the facility then suddenly 'went down'. LOL.
