LOL that is pretty good DJ... Honestly I think Kemoeatu is a Utah guy as well, if there is one thing to expect of the Utes that they will always have some huge Samoans on thier team. He would have tutored Pouha in college ,and played alongside him as well. I'm sure it would happen here as well. Actually Pouha is older so does that mean Sione would have tutored him?
Ferguson fell on his face in Dallas, trying to adjust to the 3-4.... and ended up on the bench. Yes, size is over rated for a slant nose, but NOT for a pure NT in a 3-4. Many of us have assumed the 3-4, especially with Abraham's departure. Say what you will about him, but we don't have the talent right now for a good 3-4 or a good 4-3, without him. Kemoeatu would be the foundation for the 3-4 here, with Pouha as depth.
Pretty interesting, ESPN showed Kemoeatu some love. Pasquarelli has Kemoeatu at #8, Rocky Bernard at #18 and Sam Adams at #24. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/columns/story?columnist=pasquarelli_len&id=2360759
We're gonna have to pay if we want him, and Miami may be spreading themselves to thin here... we have much more cap space than they do, and they are shopping for a QB, including the vert expensive Culpepper. They are also looking for FA help on the O line, and the D backfield. If Mangini wants him, we can outbid Miami.... we have the space.
