If the market has disappeared for him and he's not getting significant multi year offers then it makes complete sense for him to stay put and gamble on a good year in a familiar system. I can't imagine that he'd have signed anywhere else for that sort of money.
"Smithers, there's no way Watson is innocent, unless of course all nine of the complainants are liars. Three liars, it's possible. Seven liars? There's an outside chance. But nine liars? I'd like to see that."
Fine with missing out on JuJu. At times last season, the Jets went into a game with Crowder, Jeff Smith, Braxton Berrios and...fill in a name here as the Top 4 WR's. Now it's going to be Corey Davis, Denzel Mims, Jamison Crowder, Keelan Cole and one or two of Jeff Smith, Vyncint Smith, Braxton Berrios or a 3rd/4th round pick. The position has been tremendously upgraded and could still get better.
According to the lawyer, the has 12 women so far with an additional 10 still discussing specifics.....Watson's value is now a conditional 7th....
Because his days of being an impactful football player are over at 32 years of age. He should retire and get into coaching.
You could get 9 liars if the first 3 were particularly convincing and it became easy to just dogpile on top.
He's on the old side for a CB. Plus, he should run for office and author the Sherman Antitrust Act, updated for 21st century needs.
I'm not so sure about that. He supposedly still played at a very high level this past season. I never saw him play that I remember, but every thing I've read about him with regards to FA said that he still played at a very high level this past year.
