Just checked, he never took a full season off. He missed half a season in Dalton’s rookie year.

Disagree - maybe they will just sit whoever they draft behind Tyrod this year.

If Watson says he wants to go to the Pats, 49ers, or Dolphins and the Texans send him anywhere other than Miami (assuming Miami was seriously trying to land him), the NFL should ban everyone who had to do with it for life. The professionals in the Texans front office are being paid to serve the Texans, not another team.

Huh? They'd still have less than the majority of teams tied into their quarterback with a rookie & Taylor on a one year deal. It signals the exact scenario where they'd draft a quarterback.

Eh I mean if the trade package is comparable I wouldn't see a huge problem with it. The picks would just come over a longer time period. The only rub is not having that third overall pick, but they might not want to deal with the Dolphins out of principle of trading back for their own picks.

Agree completely. In fact, Texans should go after the higher offer and what benefits them the most. Quite frankly if he doesn’t like it he can sit.

Well I guess Belichick could be like "Fuck it, I'm retiring soon anyway, so you want all the Patriots 2020s first rounders?" But assuming the Dolphins present a better offer, the Texans front office has no right by their own fanbase to trade him to the Patriots instead.

Lawsuit was just filed accusing Watson of sexual assault.

Probably Texans fuckery I’m guessing though.

The opposite. Watsons camp fuckery. All the more reason to release him or trade him.

Accusing yourself of sexual assault to force a trade feels like a bit of a stretch.

Not if after he gets released the woman admits she lied for money

he literally said “he looks forward to clear his name”

That lawyer makes little sense and is all over the place.

    Watson responds:

If Lombardi is saying Watson is not Jets-bound, he’s definitely coming. Buy your jersey now.
