I mean the shit he was doing was downright sick, psycho stuff!! He was raping old ladies, and random homeless women, etc. On the one hand, it would be easy to say he just lost his marbles due to football and CTE, which is what his attorneys alleged, buuuuut then again, I read crazy stuff about how he was a sicko even back when he was younger and still playing. I remember one story from his time with the Bucs was about how his own teammates didn't want to room with him on the road bc he would LITERALLY start watching porn and jerking off right in front of them. The coaches had to tell him to stop whipping it out and punchin' his little munchkin in front of his teammates in the hotel room bc nobody wanted to room with him anymore. So maybe he was always seriously messed up in the head?!!

I knew a guy who used to play football in high school with Hernandez, and my brother was friends with a guy from Bristol who also knew Hernandez. Both had the same take on him: He was an absolute piece of shit his entire life; a total narcissistic psycho with no conscience whatsoever. And I heard this about Hernandez BEFORE his crimes, while he was still playing for the Patriots. Conditions like CTE, PTSD, etc. can cause some violent outbursts and behavior changes. But they don't cause personality disorders. They don't make people become serial rapists; they don't cause people to plan per-meditated cold blooded murders. Hernandez and Winslow were monsters from a young age; they likely would have done what they did regardless of whether or not they played football. The only difference would be that we'd likely never hear about it because it would only be local news. While there are a lot of players in the NFL who are class acts, jobs that bring about fame and fortune attract egomaniacs and psychos; they have high opinions of themselves they feel they answer to no one. That's how we end up with the Dave Meggetts, Rae Carruths, Lawrence Phillips, Darren Sharpers, Aaron Hernandezes, Kellen Winslow Jrs...

Well said. He killed Odin Lloyd over "respect" like a wannabe gangster. I can never understand these millionaires (non-athletic celebrities too) that don't just hire high class prostitutes to fulfill their fantasies or whatever. Not trying to deminish it and there's obviously something extremely twisted with rapists that the common man will never understand.
