Excellent! I'm glad that we've brought Leon back into the fold. Too bad we couldn't have hired Mawae.
Time to dig out my Leon Washington jersey. Really hope this hire works out (I mean obviously I want them all to work out, but you know what I mean).
I bought my wife a Leon Washington jersey, and then we promptly traded him to Seattle. Welcome back, Leon!
Surprised no one has posted the hiring of Steve Steve Scarnecchia as "chief of staff " his responsibilities are expected to be coordinating the meeting and practice schedules and football calendar, managing the football budget and orchestration of team and staff events as well as providing administrative assistants to the coaching and operations staff.
Coach Saleh has a load of admin/programme work in his new post. He's just delegated a load of work away to someone who's been doing it years. Bringing experienced people to help lend a hand where he knows he needs it. Sent from my M2007J20CG using Tapatalk
Me too. I saw it, but didn't know what to make of it. I was a little concerned that it might blow up in Saleh's face like the "racist" coach that Urban Meyer hired that wound up resigning.
Leon was always such a heads up player. With all his kick off returns the one play that sticks out in mind is this one. I don't think I ever saw a player do this before or after Leon. So stoked that he is back with the Jets.
Wow, I didn't he know that was a thing lol got to take your hat off to a player that knows the rule book inside out like that, when under pressure as well.
I think that is why that play has stuck with me all these years. To go that deep in the rules of the game pertaining to special team just goes to show how much he paid attention to his craft. He will bring the same mind set as a coach and that is why I really like this hire.
