So, looks like your team will have the chance to knock us out of the playoff hunt with a win this week. Although I can't see it happening I know you will be confident that the Raiders can win. As you can see in my sig you clearly think the Raiders at 2-13 are a much better than the Jets at 9-6. I'm sure you will be around here lurking for the next couple of days and I wanted to get your opinion of the game as biased as it might be. Give us a little info about that wonderful offense you have going out there on the west coast.

I hope the Jets don't view the Raiders the same way a lot of people on this board seem too. I want this team to go to the playoffs.

    I like Raiders' fans. :)

The 'havok' they raised in the New England Patriots chat room following their 2001 playoff game was totally hilarious!

...and Al Davis is one of the classiest owners in all of sports.

I can't wait for Raiderjoey to drop knowledge. I don't know what I'm looking at when the Raiders suck ass on the field so I need Raiderjoey to explain it.

I can't help but feel I'm missing an inside joke here. A Niners fan that likes the Raiders? Al Davis classy? Randomly quoting and misspelling "havoc"? You must be the new "few fries short of a Happy Meal" troll we've been so sorely lacking lately.

Seems Jeaux has been AWOL since just before the start of the Holiday season, AKA Chiefs-Raiders Saturday night debacle. Too bad he decided to go into hibernation before the showdown this Sunday. I was expecting him to pull a disappearing act after the game not before, maybe he's finally come to his senses and realizes he has a better shot of hitting the powerball than the Raiders do at actually winning another game for Art Shell. Yeah, that must be it.

IM extremely confident Raiders will win this game, IF they protect the football. You can't win in the NFL when you have as many turnovers as Raiders have. Raiders have been moving the football pretty well on offense since changing OC , but it hasn't translated to points. (throwing alot more short passes now) Too many sacks and QB losing football ,have stall numerous drives.
A Walter when he can set his feet is a very effective passer.
I expect the Jets to heavily blitz Raiders very young inexperience line. A Walter tends to hold the ball too long and lock on to his primary reciever(something he has to improve on or he won't be playing in this league for long)
Thats why its imperative Raiders run the ball effectively. Raiders get in known passing downs and when jet blitz, someone probably will come free. Good chance Raiders lose the ball on a turnover.
Raiders will try to run the ball with Justin fargas- has been running very hard.
R Curry is the Raiders go to WR. (still a year way before hes at full speed ) but still very dangerous. J morant is making his second start of the year/career opposite Curry. Hes a big target 6'4 220 for Walter. Doug Gabriel will be the third WR. I think the Raiders probably will try to use the TEs more than the WRs.(big mistake) ONe for the running game and two for the mismatches they create. Raiders tes outside of Courtney Anderson 6'7 270 are really bulked up WRs( Randal Williams 6'3 235 can fly and John Madsen 6'5 230.) Raiders like to use them because they feel they are too fast for LBs to cover and too big for CBs to handle. Problem is Raiders TEs don't block very well and outside of Madsen(who they hardly use) there hands are unreliable. There a fifty- fifty chance that they are going to catch it. Not good especially on third down when you need the catch , to move the chains.

Obviously Raiders offense not why im so confident.
ITs the Raiders defense where I feel Raders have the talent to really take the Jets offense out. will discuss this later.

A couple days ago the Raiders would win without a doubt. Now we get a qualifier!
