Andre Dyson's injury status... does anyone know the severity? TIA for any info. I'd hate to be without him if we make the playoffs.
He was a great find. He could be the best corner we've got right now. Let's hope he's okay. It'll probably be a couple of days before we know for sure.
Mangini was asked in his press conference today and he said he was banged up, they were monitoring it, and he'll have more information tomorrow.
According to the Daily News: http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/story/483319p-406825c.html - Considering how tight lipped Mangini is about injuries, we probably won't know the full extent of the injury until kickoff next Sunday.
Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. At least I'm encouraged by the "but appeared fine after the game" thing. If his ACL is okay and he just needs some rest, we can probably let him sit out this game without much consequence.
Dyson would be a huge loss. But, I doubt it is that serious especially since they said his return for the game last night was questionable. However, since we are most likely going to play the colts in the 1st round and will need him desperately, I would sit him against oakland.
Im not too concerned if he plays or doesn't play next week (obviously, I want him to play) but we NEED him if we're going to play the colts.
If you haven't noticed, he's already started quite a few times already this season. In fact, it seems he had supplanted Justin Miller and David Barrett quite a while ago.
He looked like he had injured his knee and was taken off the field with assistance, but he seemed to be putting some weight onto his knee, which hopefully means that there was no full tear of anything.
