Since we are quoting ourselves. I guess I was wrong because we are rebuilding in 2 years. What Darnold does post Jets is yet to be seen, but Gase’s ineptitude in developing Sam has definitely forced the likelihood of a trade.
It's been said the 2 happiest days in a boat-owners life are the day he bought the boat and the day he sold it - when it comes to Gase, we didn't even get 2, the ONLY happy day we'll experience is tomorrow...
I think the worst part of the Gase era is how he stripped me of any sort of passion for this team. Whether through apathy or actively rooting for losses, I can count on one hand how many times I rooted for the Jets over the last 2 years. 1) Week 1 2018 vs BUF 2) 2018 vs DAL (Sam’s return) 3) 2018 vs NE (Sam’s 2nd game) 4) 2018 vs OAK (family got me tickets so I was there) Every other game I either had no interest or actively rooted for losses to get Gase fired/get a better draft pick. And I’m usually the guy screaming at the top of his lungs. Just pathetic. I hope this never happens again.
its easy to be right as a jets fan when you are generally negative. if we had hired mccarthy i would have liked it and would have been getting killed 6 weeks ago. granted the cowgirls are doing better now.
