Ok I'm sure it's been said millions of times, but for what reason is there so many Jets fans in FL? Does it just happen they live there? or are we migrating and pushing Cubans back into the rafts?

    Thanks.

I swear the Jets fans in Miami are louder than the home crowd at the Meadowlands. Yeah thats right.

All the grandparents moved from NY to So. Fla and got tickets so their relatives can see the Jets win in Miami.

South Florida sports fans suck. Plain and simple. If their team is not in first place they do not go to the games.

Anyway, there is a ton of displaced NY'ers like myself here. We do not have the fair weather fan mentality and that has a lot to do with it.

BTW There were more Jet fans there then Dolfans. I did not see one fight which was weird. I think the rain might have had something to do with it.

We are all from NY. If not NY then NJ.
I'd say 45% of the people down here are from Long Island alone.

Along with the fact that we have a ton of snow birds that live down here from Nov-April.

Oh so true. The fans down here are the worst. The Canes and the Dolphins fans are horrible, I cant wait to listen to local AM radio tomorrow.

I also found that very weird. Maybe people were in the Christmas mood.

I wouldn't change a thing, getting soaked that bad was awesome.

I'm in Tampa but am here when my parents wanted me to go here and attend a better high school and college. But when I graduate and find a job, it sure as hell will be back home...I miss NY too much
