Damn JAX needs win hate rooting for 16 losses here but man, you can really see Gase’s stubbornness with Gore is yet another of the 400 nails in the coffin. He’s a natural tanker because he’s so inept in so many ways.

The only game I can see the Jags winning is their home game against the Bears. Who can the Jets beat? The Rams? Doubt it. Seattle? After losing today I can’t see them stumbling at home again. The Browns? I can’t see it. The Patriots? They should of beat them on that Monday night but I don’t know about In Foxboro..... The key is as aggravating as today was the Jets were 5 seconds from losing the #1 pick. Who’s to say the Jags wouldn’t tank at that point?
The Seahawks and Rams should kill us, and Browns should too as long as they aren't resting their starters. (Also the Browns would love for us to go 0-16, so they'll be motivated to win.) My biggest concern is if the Patriots are out of contention and Belichick doesn't want Lawrence in the division. Then again, the Colts, who the Jags play in Week 17, may also be motivated to lose.
For me, here's the last piece of the "Gase is the worst head coach we've ever had" puzzle ... The man is the head coach. Not the offensive coordinator. The HEAD COACH of the goddamn football team. He just watched Agholor get behind the defense for what should have been a rip your heart out, game winning TD. And our secondary is loaded with young guys who've been in the league for 10 minutes. Explain to me how this guy doesn't have the brains to call his final TO as soon the Raiders line up for the next play. Any coach who doesn't suck, and is in touch with the overall pulse of the team, has enough sense to call a TO there. You get your defense over to the sidelines and you huddle with them and the DC to talk about the defensive call. Instead, this guy is one play away from getting his first W, and you can bet your life he had no clue what the D was going to do. If nothing else, Its gives them a chance to catch their breath, think about their assignments, and reset their focus ... and if you have any brains at all you tell Williams, absolutely not. Gase is the farthest thing from a leader you will ever see on an NFL sideline.
This just underscores the stupidity of hiring a HC, and then being okay with that HC essentially dumping half of his responsibilities onto the "second HC", known on all other teams as the DC. How can you call yourself a HC and only care about one unit? And how can you be an owner and hire a guy like that, and worse, continue keep him as HC? The Jets deserve every bit of an 0-16 record.
I think about him on the sideline, and then I think about guys like Harbaugh, Tomlin and Carroll and I can't even believe they're the same species.
