I hate having to do this but we need to relax. There has been too much talk about winning this game. Lets relax and not jump to anything, I know we had to wait an extra day for this game but lets not get ahead of ourselves. For example the thread about which playoff team we rather race is a thread we should had waited for next week. I live in Buffalo and Bills fans kept talking about how they didn't see a problem versus the Titans and they really thought that a playoff berth was possible and look what happened they lost a heartbreaker by 1. I am all supportive about the threads saying that we control our destiny and we are on a roll. To everyboy Happy Holidays, hope everybody enjoy there time with their families and lets be hopeful for a win tonight. Lets not be cocky fans and assume that we won this game already. A toast for the Jets for a great season they gave us and let's be hopeful that tonight will be a night that the nation will see we are a force to be reckon with.

alright coach we'll focus on the game tonight and not think about the playoffs

we're FANS - it's week 16 - it's alright to talk about playoffs, thanks for trying to keep us on track though.

I am willing to go on record that if the Jets don't win tonight, it will NOT be the fault of anyone on the board (unless, of course, there are Jets players posting here, in which case, get your mind back on the game!).

get bent. god forbid any excitement that the green machine are looking good and have a legitimate shot at the playoffs. you can tone it down....the rest of us will be pumped and looking forward to getting into the playoffs.

why should we be restrained? being a long time jet fan, im sure something miserable and heart wrenching will happen between now and the end of the oakland game that will cause us to be out of the hunt, so we should enjoy it while we can.

WE ARE FANS.....NOT THE JETS. our cockyness will have no direct bearing on the outcome of the game. our excitement ON THE INTERNET wont change anything.

however, the fact that we are jets fans, and on a yearly basis we posture for great things only to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory should mean nothing.....well, nothing but the phrase that pays "wait till next year".
