If Ramsey comes to NY do we still draft a QB in Rd. 1?

    Imagine having Penny , Ramsey, and Cutler all vying for QB this season. It wouldn't make much sense to me. Today on NFL Radio they were really talking like Ramsey coming here is a possibility. If this happens I hope we don;t go with a QB in round 1, it would tie up too much mnoney at a position only one guy can play. If Patty R comes to NY, we gotta go with Ferguson at #4....

    No way that happens and there is also no way the jets take ferguson at #4.

    I doubt it, Penny still gets a lot of money for this year even with the restructuring of his contract. Ramsey wont be signed for the veteran minimum and with a larger cap rookies will ask for more money and they will be expensive anyways since they are 1st round picks. I dont see us tying that much money up into one position.

    even if Ramsey doesnt come to the jets, we wont be drafting a qb in the 1st round

    He can run a 4.1 for all I care. This draft needs to be offense.

    If you add it up its still alot, Ramsey will get some money and a 1st round rookie will get alot, I say draft a quarterback next year.

    I'm pretty sure that if a linebacker like him ran a 4.1, the Texans would draft him.

    I dont know if anyone knows this, but did he sprint on grass or a track. It is a fact that if you run on a track you can run .2 faster on your 40 time

    If we get Ramsey that means we used a draft pick on a quarterback. I doubt we will use 2 on quarterbacks.

    No way we do. I dont Ramsey to come to us. Hes really not that good i mean i see potential in him and i guess id give him a chance because he could be good for us. What do we have to give up for him?

    were gonna have like 10 possible picks come draft day it wont matter if its a day 2 pick.

    they orginally wanted a 2nd or 3rd. but he may be had for like a 5th or a 6th

    If we sign or trade for any veteran QB we will not be selecting a QB in the first 3 rounds.

    I still think they should get a guy to duke it out with Chad...but I also still think they should draft a guy. If they don't want to use 4 on one get Brodie Croyle. We still need youth at the position.

    If we didn't take Cutler at 4, I would want us to take Mario Williams to come and be our Richard Seymour.
