Jets have a "presumptive positive" test result

    Per source, the Jets have a "presumptive positive" test result. They've sent the players and coaches home out of an abundance of caution. The player is being re-tested.

    Means someone tested positive on the rapid test and they need to confirm with a PCR test.

    Agree. Forfeit the rest of the season but let us go 0-16 and get the first pick.

    Likely a false positive or Asymptomatic. Imagine being a member of the Cardinals and waiting for the re-test before boarding the plane to NY. Crazy times indeed

    If the test is truly positive, I'm very sure the bolded part wont be an issue. The virus does have a 99.8% recovery rate

    The league, teams, and players still need the TV money for revenue. I would think a forfeit jeopardizes that?

    If it's a true positive test for 1 player, the entire team would need to be re-tested and that player be quarantined for 14 days like CAM is. Game would then be moved to Tuesday I think.
    Buffalo and the Titans are in a similar situation this week.

    Another note on the #Jets possible positive test: Because of their proximity to the lab in NJ, they will be able to get a full clarification on the player's status today. They won't have to wait until tomorrow.
