I blame Hess for selling to these Johnson clowns. They never play a sport in their lives. A pro sports owner should be a fan first off and also have a background in it. Like Al Davis and Jerry Jones. The Johnsons have no idea what they're doing and need to get out. Hess taking the highest bidder is killing the Jets. The owner isn't even in the country. Over in England sipping tea and eating crumpets.

In the 20 years, the Johnsons have owned the New York Jets, they have had only ONE coach with a winning percentage. Al FUCKING Groh. They have yet to pick a coach who could lead this team. It's time to BOYCOTT THE JOHNSONS! Stop buying Jets gear, stop buying Johnson & Johnson products, and stop wasting your money on baby powder snorting owners.

To me the biggest gripe w the Johnsons is not that they were clueless about football going in but rather that they CONTINUE to be clueless after 20 yrs owning the team. Isnt it reasonable to think that even indirectly,one would begin to learn from their mistakes & pick up a thing or 2 after owning a team for 20 yrs & having unlimited access to a professional football operation? They still after all this time know absolutely NOTHING about winning football
Hate to ask it, but after Hess it was between the brothers Johnson and genetic lottery winner James Dolan right? I wonder how much differently things would be if Dolan owner the team?
Viewership is down this season and since there are no fans at metlife, I imagine the Johnson's will not be pleased with the lost profit. Paired with how embarrassing we are and the bad press sweeping through NFL media, the Jets are the laughingstock of the league Two things need to happen to give fans some hope: change the power structure so the GM can actually run the football operations and the coach reports to the HC. The current structure isn't working. Fire gase and the majority of the coaching staff and allow Joe Douglas to handpick his next HC. The Johnson's own the jets for 1 reason and that is to make money and to fund the football operations. Outside of that, they should know that they are not fit to make football decisions.
