I think it could really be Jax/KC, which could mean we'll need to wait until Sunday night to know our playoff chances if we don't get any help until that point. That would be real nervewracking.

Atlanta-Philadelphia should be the front runner.

Jacksonville at Kansas City has a good shot too.

It would be great if Herm could help us back into the playoffs once again

You kidding? They won't put the Raiders on a night game. No matter who they are playing.

If it comes down to KC-Jax on Sunday night I doubt the Jets will make the playoffs.

Jacksonville is a good team and Herm has trouble winning this type of game when he really wants too. If going 8-8 instead of 9-7 keeps the Jets out of the playoffs I'm guessing he'll find a way to fudge it.

I don't think anybody on here would honestly want a Jets game at night on New Years Eve. My friend is throwing a huge party which would be completely ruined if the Jets were on.

I think it might be Atlanta v. Filthy....the only other choice though would be KC/JAX

As far as I know, there won't be a Sunday night game on New Year's Eve. NBC is probably doing it's own New Year's Eve show.

Back in, HOW SO?! If we win to go 10-6, and we need KC to win and they do, it's not backing in.

Bottom line is, let's win the next two.

We hold our head high at 10-6 no matter where we go from there!

Wouldn't that interfere with the regular 4:00 Sunday games?

I heard Ira call up WFAN this week and he said the "rumor" is that if our game has playoff implications, they would make that the night game.

By back in, I think he means returning to the playoffs.

Not back in like the Herman Edwards 2004 playoff team.

Or maybe it was a small joke at Herm's expense. :)

True, I just used that as a broad explanation of depending on other teams on the last week of the season to get you in

(I'm just not a big Herm fan)

NE-TENN has a good shot, too if things shake right (Tenn, NYJ, and Jax all winning).
