That would be real nervewracking.
If it comes down to KC-Jax on Sunday night I doubt the Jets will make the playoffs. Jacksonville is a good team and Herm has trouble winning this type of game when he really wants too. If going 8-8 instead of 9-7 keeps the Jets out of the playoffs I'm guessing he'll find a way to fudge it.
I don't think anybody on here would honestly want a Jets game at night on New Years Eve. My friend is throwing a huge party which would be completely ruined if the Jets were on.
As far as I know, there won't be a Sunday night game on New Year's Eve. NBC is probably doing it's own New Year's Eve show.
Bottom line is, let's win the next two. We hold our head high at 10-6 no matter where we go from there!
NBC may do a game around 5pm Eastern like on Christmas Eve...and then do whatever New Year's Eve show after
I heard Ira call up WFAN this week and he said the "rumor" is that if our game has playoff implications, they would make that the night game.
By back in, I think he means returning to the playoffs. Not back in like the Herman Edwards 2004 playoff team. Or maybe it was a small joke at Herm's expense.
True, I just used that as a broad explanation of depending on other teams on the last week of the season to get you in  (I'm just not a big Herm fan)
