Here are two scenarios that i think we can actually do with our cap room. So...would u rather...
    1) Sign Lecharles Bentley and move Kendall to guard.
    2) Keep Kendall at center and sign steve hutchinson.

These are just two posibilities that i think we could plausibly do. and if we draft d'Brick and do one of these two things, our line could be set. Just some thoughts

Bentley I could go for, Hutchinson will be way overpriced.

    I'd go with option #1.

Kendall is alot more effective as a guard, and Bentley would be a great replacement for Mawae. If was can sign Bentley and draft 2 OL with mid round picks, our OL can potentially be very good.

I am almost certain Steve Hutchinson got Franchised and with that move, he has been removed from the Free agency list.

I just looked it up and you are correct. There was alot of talk about him getting the franchise tag, but in the end they put the trasition tag on him.

  7. I dont like any of those options at center. Kendall and Bentley are both better guards than center.

We'd be wise to move either Jones or Snell(Is said to have great athleticism and has played some center) to center or draft a guy like Mangold or Degory.

Agreed, also Bentley will want out of New Orleans while Hutch may want to stay in seattle.

IMO there will be no way that Kendall is the opening day center. He may be the backup to someone else, but he is not starting....

Option #3) Keep Kendall at Guard and draft Mangold to play center.

Bentley. Keeping Kendall would be good insurance in case, heaven forbid, something happened to Bentley, but Kendall can go back to his spot, and Bentley can be our front man for years.

I agree. But at this point in time, we are not in a position to draft Mangold. We would have to either trade down from our #4 pick, or assume that we get a mid round pick for Abraham. Playing with the cards currently in our hands, I don't see Mangold as an option. This could be a different story by this time next week though.

Has Bentley even been reported to be coming to visit the Jets? I know their is "speculation", but I have not seen anything definitive.

I love the idea of Mangold and Kendall. However, we need some depth on the line real bad (and I am not talking the 7-8th round draft pick projects either).

#5) Assuming 2 first round picks:
Draft Brick (OT) & Mangold (C), sign Shaffer (OT), keep Kendall at OG

I'm hesitant about Bentley and his injury history, nothing serious, but I like guys who are in there week in and week out, not missing time every season.

Taking two OL with two first round picks would be dumb. If you have two first round picks, you have to take at least one skill player with one of those picks.
