Jets release LB Riddle, sign FB Tutt from practice squad December 16, 2006 HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. (AP) -- The New York Jets released linebacker Ryan Riddle on Saturday, and signed fullback Stacy Tutt from the practice squad. Riddle, signed as a free agent in September, had two tackles in five games with the Jets after spending his rookie season with Oakland. Tutt was signed as an undrafted free agent out of Richmond, where he started at quarterback for three seasons. The 6-foot-1, 233-pound Tutt's 6,872 career yards of total offense are second in school history, and his 5,318 yards passing rank third. He'll be with the Jets for their game at Minnesota on Sunday. http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_y...SYSeQ2bYF?slug=ap-jetsmoves&prov=ap&type=lgns Interesting were carrying 3 fullbacks for the vikings.
interesting. looks like we are going to actually try and run on the toughest run defense in decades........ lets see if he plays.
Not interesting, sad really. Shows you how much Askew sucks. What other team is carrying 3 FBs? What I woulldn't give for a decent blocking FB.
Could be because Askew is questionable for the game. Baltimore and Indy are 2 teams that carry 3 FB's on their roster.
And they are all better blockers than Askew. Askew has been in the league, what 3 years, and he hasn't done anything. I don't get the love affair people have with Askew, he stinks, can't block, can't run, and can barely catch.
The reason Sowell is gone because of the salary cap hit and his age. How is playing this year by the way?
